Traditional Thai Massage is a full, physical, hands on branch of Traditional Thai Medicine, (TTM), with authentic teachings directly from Northern Thailand, Chiang Mai University & Dr. Jong Baik PHd

TTM works with the Sen energy channels. There are 10 abundant in the body, they connect to different emotions, functions and pass through different areas of the body for various benefits, they move vital substances and are the pathways for PRANA and FLOW, PRANA is the Sanskrit word for “life force” or “Vital Energy”, in Thai it translates to ”The Wind of Life”. Traditional Thai Therapies aims to remove blockages which can cause illness or disease, helping the lom “energy” to flow. 

This course will cover how to safely and professionally perform a TTM on a Thai matt, or low treatment bed, spiritual teachings, history of practices, contraindications and cautions, correct postures for yourself and your client, performing sequences from 90 minutes up to 2 hours, professionally perform around 150 variations of Acupressure, Stretching and Deep Breathing, and a starting Prayer to Jivaka, the physician to Lord Buddha. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of the last day, with a practical assessment.                                       

Prerequisite is a Level 3 or above in Anatomy and Physiology,  we can provide you an online one from The Beauty Guild Level 3, for £195, fully accredited by The Guild.
