Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a gentle, hands on 90 minute Therapy, designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping to move lymph fluid out of congested areas of the body. Specialised techniques are utilised to help prevent the build up of stagnant fluid, Qi (energy), Lymph and Blood in the body. In Traditional East Asian Medicine, Damp and Phlegm can be one of the main causes of disease, causing poor muscle tone, sluggish Lymphatic, Circulatory, Pulmonary, Immune and digestive  system, Joint inflammation, Insomnia, irregular menses, Brain Fog, Depression, Fatigue, shallow breathing, Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity plus more……                                                                                                                                                                This training course delivers Eastern and Western explanations into the Anatomy and Physiology of the Lymphatic System, giving a different insight into health, and why an MLD is important for organ health for all the systems and its connections, techniques on how to move unwanted accumulated fluid with specialised massage using your hands, forearms & elbows, the possible causes, contra-indications, contra-actions, history, advice on how to help it disperse and lifestyle Improvements for optimal health  plus……                              

Information on using skincare products that are chemical free with their benefits, eliminating chemicals, how it works through the skin, cardiovascular, venous and lymphatic system, filtering with the fluid through the 600-700 Lymph nodes of the body and back into the blood stream.                                                                                                                                                              Prerequisite – Anatomy and Physiology Level 3 or more is required.
